For its sense of beauty, simplicity and aromatic nature. This drink came about when I was walking through some parts of Penang, and came upon a statue of Quan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. In an effort to capture that sense of serene oppluance. This drink came to mind from an earlier creation that I hadn't quite figured out on what to do with. The result was this. A bridge between the East and West. This drink uses 3 main floral teas, butterfly pea, dried osmanthus & Chrysanthemum. As it marriages, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice, a nice London Dry Gin, orange and Angostura bitters. The optional part is the use of egg white, which is not necessary if people are squimish about. But it provides a blanket, and effect like no other.
